See Madrid in a different way

Madrid has as many things to discover as ways to discover them, so jump in and explore the city in a different way.

For lovers of literature… a wander through the Neighbourhood of Letters

It’s the part of Madrid where you’re welcomed by Federico García-Lorca, Lope de Vega and Cervantes. You’ll tread on fragments of books, feeling like you’re a character in one. And as you wander around you’ll be taken back to Spain’s Golden Age.

The district is bounded by the well-known streets of Atocha, the Carrera de San Jerónimo, the Paseo del Prado and Calle Carretas. It’s an area where you’ll find modern establishments and designer shops rubbing shoulders with convents, welcoming little plazas and Madrid’s three main museums: the Prado, the Reina Sofia and the Thyssen-Bornemisza.

Vincci offers you a charming hotel in the Neighbourhood of Letters: the Vincci Soho 4*, one of the highlights of which is the huge gecko on the façade. The hotel comprises five historic buildings, which contrast with the modern decor of the interior. Take the time to savour a drink on the outdoor terrace, thinking about what these streets would have been like in the time of Quevedo.
