Vincci Hoteles kicks off the terrace season so you can enjoy the fine weather with unbeatable views

Summer is officially terrace season. The pleasant temperatures see us seeking outdoor locations to enjoy the sun and the delightful weather of this time of year. And at Vincci Hoteles we have a number of terraces which are just perfect to make the most of the long days and incredible sunsets in Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Valencia, Málaga and Porto. Different spots with magnificent views over the most iconic locations of each city; each with its own character and unique seal of identity. What they have in common: the high-quality service you expect from our hotel chain and a range of innovative surprises that will take your ‘terraceo’ experience to the next level.

Vincci Consulado de Bilbao 4* (Alameda de Mazarredo 22, Bilbao)

With an excellent panorama over the Bilbao estuary and the Guggenheim Museum, the terrace at the Vincci Consulado de Bilbao 4* allows you to delight in the view while you enjoy a pleasant atmosphere and an extensive menu of food, drinks and cocktails.

Vincci Capitol 4* (Gran Vía 41, Madrid)

From Madrid to Heaven, goes the popular saying that doesn’t, however, mention the beauty of the Spanish capital when seen from the heights. At Vincci Hoteles we love being able to offer you the opportunity of enjoying the visual experience from our various hotels located along Gran Vía, each with a distinct vantage point over the city’s busiest street. At number 41, you’ll find Vincci Capitol 4*, without doubt the most photographed building on the thoroughfare, which hosts the famous Schweppes advert and appears on social media time and again. Its image has become one of the symbols of Gran Vía and the capital itself. The Carrión building, which houses Vincci Capitol 4*, is an emblem of urban Madrid and an unmistakable feature of the city’s skyline.

Vincci The Mint 4* (Gran Vía 10, Madrid)

The freshness of mint hits the Madrid sky above Gran Vía thanks to The Mint Roof, the terrace of Vincci THE MINT 4*. The terrace is a continuation of the innovative style found in the rest of the hotel, designed by Jaime Beriestain, inspired by the concept “Fresh&Music”. One of the main attractions is the food truck which this summer brings the “Sun&Beach” concept to the terrace.

Vincci Vía 66 4* (Gran Vía 66, Madrid)

At Gran Vía number 66, Vincci Vía 66 4* has a terrace with one of the best views over the capital’s main thoroughfare. From the rooftop terrace several of the most famous sculptures on the roofs of the neighbouring buildings on Gran Vía can be seen, such as one of the celebrated Phoenixes found atop several of the capital’s domes.

Vincci Mae 4* (Avenida Diagonal 596, Barcelona)

The style of 1930s New York fills this hotel, inspired by the wit, irony and sensuality of the actress it takes its name from: Mae West. The ninth floor is home to the “West” bar and restaurant, with direct access to the terrace and a menu offering local produce, which often reveals European and Asian influences. To go along with the fabulous dishes, “West” has a cocktail menu, including the internationally famous drink dedicated to the New York actress.

What’s more, the rooftop has a plunge pool, in which you can take a dip while you gaze out at the city’s skyline, an outdoor zone with tables, and a hammock area where you can relax in the sun or enjoy the star-filled night sky and the incredible views over the rooftops of Barcelona.

Vincci Bit 4* (Calle Josep Pla 69, Barcelona)

With a clear cutting-edge, cosmopolitan style, the terrace of Vincci Bit maintains the modernist style which dominates the property, with Street Art found throughout the public areas of this hotel-art gallery. The eighth floor is the home to the rooftop terrace, presided over by a pool and a sun-bathing zone. It’s the perfect place to relax or savour something from the menu, or a cocktail, and to get away from the heat of the city.

Vincci Mercat 4* (Carrer de la Llanterna 31, Valencia)

Located in one of the busiest, most visited, parts of Valencia, Vincci Mercat 4* is inspired by the Central Market, el Mercado Central, of this city on the banks of the Turia, the largest market in Europe dedicated to fresh produce. Its charming rooftop terrace allows the guests to enjoy the sun and views over the city during almost the entire year, thanks to Valencia’s wonderful climate. There’s a small pool on the terrace, to enjoy a dip, or sun bathe in summer, all right in the centre of the city.

Vincci Selección Posada del Patio 5* (Pasillo de Santa Isabel 7, Málaga)

Right in the historic centre of Málaga stands Vincci Selección Posada del Patio. While remains of the Arab Wall of Málaga have been found under the hotel, the rooftop holds a large terrace with views of some of the city’s main landmarks. During the day you can enjoy the sun in the hammocks or a refreshing dip in the pool, to cope with the heat.

Vincci La Rábida 4* (Calle Castelar 24, Sevilla)

For a little relaxation and to enjoy the Seville skyline from above, the best place is the terrace of Vincci La Rábida, where you can enjoy local culinary specialities while enjoying unbeatable views over the cathedral. Its restaurant “El Mirador de Sevilla” offers a varied menu, where the traditional cuisine of Seville takes pride of place, with sophisticated touches in a collection of seductive recipes tempting you to discover Seville through your taste buds.

Vincci Porto 4* (Alameda Basilio Teles 29-33, Oporto, Portugal)

Its location by the Douro River offers the ideal place to savour some cocktails while the sun goes down. The terrace at Vincci Porto 4* (Alameda Basilio Teles 29, Porto, Portugal), the Douro Sky Lounge, offers a unique spot to contemplate the Ponte de Arrábida and the houses and vineyards that line the riverbanks, along with the city itself.

What’s more, the “Vincci Fresh Sessions” are back in Porto once again to bring to the Portuguese city a new way of understanding the passing of day into night, in the most refreshing manner possible.
