Málaga is decked out for the fair, and Vincci Hotels is celebrating with local flavours and music

The Málaga Fairreturns to fill the capital with music and flavour, and Vincci Hotels is joining the celebrations with special offerings at two of its most iconic establishments. From 15 to 22 August, Vincci Selección Posada del Patio 5* and Vincci Larios Diez 4* will offer fair-themed menus, live performances and specially decorated spaces to bring the spirit of these festivities to both guests and local visitors.

Andalusia is once again getting into the festive spirit to celebrate one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer. From 15 to 22 August, the Feria de Málaga will transform the streets of the city centre into a stage for music, gatherings and tradition, and Vincci Hotels has already prepared a special programme at Vincci Selección Posada del Patio 5*, at Pasillo de Santa Isabel 7, and Vincci Larios Diez 4*, at Marqués de Larios 10.

Both hotels will open their spaces to guests, visitors and local residents with gastronomic offerings inspired by the region, live music and special touches designed to bring the atmosphere of the fair indoors. Two privileged locations from which to experience the festivities without leaving the historic centre and with a perspective closely connected to Málaga's identity.

Live performances, Andalusian-inspired gastronomic offerings and details paying tribute to the essence of Málaga will come together with the hotel's renowned hospitality, allowing visitors and locals to experience the fair from two of the city's most special central locations.

In the heart of the historic centre, Vincci Selección Posada del Patio 5* Hotel will once again become one of the most unique places to enjoy the festivities without leaving the hotel. Throughout the week, its iconic courtyard will be transformed into a fairground setting, welcoming both guests and local visitors in an atmosphere inspired by Málaga's traditional fair tents.

The space will remain open from 12:00 pm to 10:30 pm, while Restaurante Entremuros will serve its special menu from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm and from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm. In addition, on Tuesday 18 August at 8:00 pm, the courtyard will host a flamenco guitar performance that will provide the soundtrack to one of the week's most special evenings.

Gastronomy will play a key role, with a selection of chef's recommendations bringing some of the fair's most recognisable flavours to the table. Available from 15 to 22 August, the menu will include Iberian ham, an assortment of Málaga cheeses, country-style tomato salad with tuna belly and onion, fried fish of the day, lemon-fried anchovies, boiled prawns, Padrón peppers, fair-style croquettes and fair-style stew. A menu designed for sharing and enjoying at a leisurely pace, combining the flavours of popular recipes with the character of a hotel closely connected to Málaga's history and culture.

Just a few steps away, right on Calle Larios, Vincci Larios Diez 4* will celebrate the fair with a series of elevated gastronomic experiences at El Taller de Larios 10, its restaurant located on the hotel's sixth floor, offering privileged views of the cathedral and historic centre.

The hotel will kick off the celebrations on Friday 14 August with a special dinner for the traditional Noche de los Fuegos. Available from 7:00 pm and priced at €60 per person, the menu offers a contemporary journey through some of the province's most representative products.

The experience will begin with a brioche topped with Málaga salchichón tartare and sweet wine mayonnaise. Next, a wild sea bass tiradito with cold corn and yellow chilli cream, torreznos and lime will be served, followed by slow-cooked Iberian pork presa with truffled parmentier, Pedro Ximénez jus and glazed carrots. To finish, a creamy Málaga goat cheese tart accompanied by vanilla ice cream, Frigiliana honey and almond crumble. The proposal includes Beronia red wine D.O. Rioja, Cune white wine D.O. Verdejo, beer, water and soft drinks.

During the week of celebrations, Restaurante El Taller de Larios 10 will become “El Taller de Feria” and will offer a selection of dishes and sharing portions designed to bring the essence of Málaga's cuisine to the table. These include a tomato salad made with local tomatoes and anchovies in vinegar, Málaga-style tripe with chickpeas, confit cod salad, porra antequerana with fried aubergines and Frigiliana honey, Málaga-style camperitos with extra virgin olive oil mayonnaise, and feria croquettes. The selection is completed with a platter of Iberian cured meats served with regañás and artisan cheeses accompanied by Muscat grapes and quince paste. The gastronomic proposal will be complemented by a special setting throughout the hotel during the Feria, with lanterns, fans and mantoncillos, as well as a small area at the entrance featuring flamenco-inspired elements where visitors can take photographs and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere from the moment they arrive.

This experience will also extend to other areas of the hotel, with a welcome drink of rebujito, as well as special touches for guests, including the traditional Cartojal sweet wine.

The celebrations will continue with live performances by Paquito Carmona Berlanga, who will provide the music on Sunday, August 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Thursday, August 20, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and Thursday, August 27, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.. In addition, the hotel will complete its entertainment programme with a DJ session on the Rooftop on Friday, August 14, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m..

To make it easier for guests to access all the information, the hotel will set up a dedicated space where they can consult the Feria programme, while the lifts will update their posters daily with recommendations and the most relevant plans for each day, both for the daytime Feria and the Real.
