Vincci Corporate HotelsThe hotel chain highlights some of its most distinctive properties, where architecture, interior design, heritage, art and design interpret the essence of each destination to create spaces with their own identity, true to “The Vincci Perspective”: every hotel tells a different story, in dialogue with the place that welcomes it, while always maintaining the same approach to hospitality.
For 25 years, Vincci Hoteles has developed its own approach to hospitality based on one idea: every hotel should have an identity linked to the destination where it is located. “The Vincci Perspective” stems precisely from this way of observing places, interpreting spaces and taking care of the details that form part of every experience.
Throughout this journey, design has played an essential role. Not as a purely aesthetic element, but as a tool for engaging with the history, culture and character of each location. Restored buildings that had fallen into disuse and have come back to life, becoming part of the destinations where they stand; artistic references, pieces with a story, materials linked to the surroundings and distinctive architectural elements all form part of an approach to creating hotels with their own personality.
To mark its 25th anniversary, Vincci Hoteles has selected some of its most representative properties to show how this perspective translates into spaces that are very different from one another: from a hotel transformed into an urban art gallery in Barcelona to a colonial retreat in Tenerife, as well as historic buildings reinterpreted in cities such as Madrid, Bilbao and Porto.
In Barcelona, Vincci Bit 4* represents the hotel chain’s most contemporary and creative approach to design. Conceived as a true hotel-museum, the property incorporates art as a fundamental part of the experience, transforming its communal areas into a visual journey where architecture, design and illustration engage with the city’s most avant-garde identity.

The project features more than 2,000 square metres of mural art spread across corridors, floors and communal areas, with contributions from ten national and international visual artists who transform the hotel into a genuine open gallery.
These include creators such as Marta Cerdà, Yoshi Sislay, Alex Trochut, Aleix Gordo, Brosmind, Dopludo Collective and Christian Gastaldi, among others, who have expressed their individual perspectives through murals and illustrations integrated into the guest’s journey through the hotel.

Each floor features a different artistic concept, ensuring that the hotel’s design goes beyond decoration and becomes part of the way visitors discover and experience the space. This interpretation of the destination connects with Barcelona’s most creative and contemporary side and reflects one of the dimensions of “The Vincci Perspective”: seeing each hotel as a place with its own personality, where every detail contributes to creating an experience.

In Tenerife, Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur 5* offers a different interpretation of the destination. Inspired by Canarian colonial architecture, the hotel combines natural materials, vegetation and decorative elements that evoke the island’s traditions.

Among its most distinctive pieces is a collection of furniture from former European colonial houses in Asia, restored to become part of the hotel’s interior design project. These pieces, mainly crafted between the late 18th century and the early 20th century, come from former Asian colonial territories and reflect the cultural blend characteristic of that period.

Among the most notable elements are 19th-century carvings from Sulawesi (Indonesia), attributed to the area of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta, as well as the collection of sandstone sculptures from the island of Sumba (Indonesia), handcrafted using traditional methods and traditionally associated with the protection and spirituality of local homes.
Beyond their decorative value, these pieces bring their own stories and reinforce a way of understanding the hotel’s design and character.

Facing the estuary and the Guggenheim Museum, Vincci Consulado de Bilbao 4* is one of the most recognisable examples of how architecture can integrate into the urban landscape and establish a connection with the city’s history and identity.

The hotel’s name pays tribute to the Consulate of the Sea and Trading House of Bilbao, better known as the Consulate of Bilbao, established in 1511. For centuries, this historic institution governed the city’s economic destiny and served as a court for settling commercial disputes. Its regulations became the most important body of commercial law in Spain well into the 19th century and one of the most significant in Europe. In this way, the hotel connects its identity with an institution closely linked to Bilbao’s commercial and maritime history.

The building, whose silhouette is inspired by the shape of a sail, evokes the image of a sailing boat navigating the Bilbao estuary and moored opposite the museum. Designed by the architecture studios Agvar Arquitectos and Axis Arquitectura y Urbanismo, it establishes a direct dialogue with its surroundings, making the hotel’s architecture itself part of the city’s landscape.
The property’s terrace completes this connection with Bilbao, offering one of the most privileged views of the Guggenheim Museum and the estuary, from which to admire some of the most recognisable architectural landmarks of the Biscayan capital up close.

In Porto, Vincci Ponte de Ferro 4* enjoys a magnificent location next to the Dom Luís I Bridge, the city’s most famous bridge, offering unbeatable views and a unique panorama of this urban symbol and one of the most representative images of this Portuguese city: its picturesque houses and colourful façades lining the Douro River in all their splendour. The property forms part of Porto’s life through this incomparable setting and the neighbourhood where it is located, known for bringing together the city’s finest wine cellars and countless restaurants serving some of the most appealing local cuisine.
The hotel was created by restoring a group of historic buildings located between Rua Casino da Ponte and Rua Cabo Simão, in a setting closely linked to the Douro landscape and the surroundings of the Monastery of Serra do Pilar, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.
The distinctive structure of the complex, made up of different buildings adapted to a steep slope, blends into the landscape of this part of the city, where historic architecture coexists with two of its great landmarks: the monastery and the Dom Luís I Bridge.

Its name is a small tribute to the nearby bridge, the most famous of the six that Porto has. Its history dates back to the beginning of the last century, when the main building, located at the highest point, enjoyed a glorious period as a casino, known as the “Casino da Ponte”, with a panoramic restaurant and concert hall. The other buildings that make up the property had close ties to the wine industry, a very important sector in Vila Nova de Gaia, where the hotel is located, as they were used as wine cellar warehouses, traces of which can still be seen today. Following its restoration to house the current hotel under the direction of the renowned Portuguese architect José Gigante, the main building now accommodates reception, the lobby bar and its spectacular suite. The building that once housed the old wine cellars has been brought back to life to accommodate the various rooms and the car park. A new building has also been added to connect and distribute the entire complex, housing more rooms, the various dining options, the meeting room, fitness room and a wonderful terrace with a small pool offering unbeatable views.

The privileged location of Vincci Ponte de Ferro 4* and everything surrounding it inspired the property’s interior design, created by Rosa Roselló’s studio. Through light, colour, attention to detail and the quality of materials, the aim is to create warm, evocative spaces where an elegant atmosphere can be enjoyed alongside beautiful views. To achieve this, the team has combined the city’s colours and contrasts throughout the hotel’s different spaces. The intense blue of its tiles is paired with the red of its wines and rooftops, alongside noble materials such as wood, stone and marble used in the floors, as well as brass and mirrors that incorporate reflections of Porto’s unique views, allowing them to remain etched in travellers’ memories.
The project makes the buildings themselves and their relationship with the surroundings an essential part of the experience, respecting the history of the place while adapting it to a new approach to hospitality. This perspective brings architecture, heritage and landscape together to create a hotel deeply connected to Porto.

In Madrid, Vincci Soho 4* is the result of a complex restoration process involving five protected historic buildings located in the Literary Quarter.
The interior design project, developed by Alejandra Pombo, interprets the area’s artistic and theatrical character through a design filled with references to the world of entertainment. The spirit of the neighbourhood extends into the property, allowing guests to experience this artistic energy without leaving the hotel. Elements such as the carousel and the horses form part of a distinctive universe that gives the hotel a recognisable personality.

At the entrance, “Lola” the giraffe peeks out from behind the scenes to welcome guests back to the property and introduce them to this magical universe, offering a glimpse of what is to come. The imagination continues to flow through its dining concept, NoMad Food & Bar, which caters to both hotel guests and the general public. Its menu can also be enjoyed outdoors on its terrace, a small oasis amid the bustle of the city centre. Located in the central part of the property, in the form of a courtyard, it is a hidden spot that can only be discovered by venturing into the hotel, following a route where the surreal characters designed by Alejandra Pombo gradually introduce visitors to this dreamlike universe. At the centre stands a huge carousel that is actually a bar, marking the entrance to the antechamber of the courtyard, a covered terrace for when the weather does not allow guests to enjoy the garden. Here, vegetation begins to take centre stage, offering a preview of what lies beyond on the outdoor terrace, where several plant-covered domes open up above the tables, inspired by the quintessential theatrical and romantic tree, the weeping willow. All of this sets the imagination soaring, as if we were in a scene from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, and makes it the ideal place to escape the heat on summer afternoons and evenings, in the best company.

Another of its most distinctive features is an Art Nouveau stained-glass window recovered during the building’s renovation, which originally belonged to the Montepío Comercial Industrial Madrileño (MCIM), a historic society dedicated to social welfare and life insurance. Its incorporation into the hotel preserves a fragment of Madrid’s economic and social history, connecting the building’s past with its new life as a hotel. Today, the piece forms part of the hotel’s design and blends naturally with its contemporary architecture and interior design, demonstrating an approach that seeks to preserve the past and give it a new interpretation.

The architecture, interior design and objects that form part of each hotel are not merely decorative elements, but a way of connecting with the destination and discovering what makes it unique.
Because, ultimately, the Vincci Perspective is not only about what is built, but also about how it is built: interpreting places, preserving stories and taking care of every detail that transforms a space into an experience.
In 2026, Vincci Hoteles celebrates its 25th anniversary, reaffirming its own approach to hospitality: “The Vincci Perspective”.
