Vincci Corporate HotelsVincci Hotels continues to expand its presence in new destinations with the development of two new projects in Ibiza and Haro (La Rioja), which will join the group’s portfolio over the coming years. The announcement coincides with the company’s 25th anniversary, a journey that has always been guided by “the Vincci Perspective”: a distinctive way of interpreting places, spaces, and the hospitality experience.
With these new developments, the group reinforces its growth strategy in destinations with a strong sense of identity, investing in hotels that engage with their surroundings and seek to become part of the cultural and social fabric of each location.
“Celebrating 25 years is an important milestone for Vincci Hotels and an opportunity to continue evolving while remaining true to the essence upon which the company was founded. Our approach to growth is based on developing hotels that reflect the character of each destination, and projects such as those in Ibiza and La Rioja are a perfect example of our way of understanding hospitality,” says Carlos Calero, CEO of Vincci Hotels.
Among the new projects, Vincci Hotels’ arrival in Ibiza stands out. The group will develop a five-star hotel scheduled to open during the 2027 season. The property will feature 116 rooms distributed across two floors and will include a range of facilities designed to enhance the guest experience, including a restaurant, two bars, a rooftop, swimming pool, gym, and spa.
The project has been conceived to integrate respectfully into its surroundings, maintaining a low-rise profile and an architectural footprint that engages harmoniously with the local landscape. This approach reflects the group’s commitment to developing properties that adapt to their environment from both a landscape and environmental perspective.
The addition of Ibiza marks Vincci Hotels’ entry into one of the Mediterranean’s most renowned tourist destinations, a place where nature, culture, and social life coexist and which represents one of the most iconic markets in international tourism.
This development is complemented by a new property in Haro (La Rioja), where the company will open a four-star hotel with 52 rooms, scheduled to open at the end of 2027. The project will be located on a 7,000-square-metre estate that was home to a renowned manor house and winery in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, reviving a site with a rich history in one of Spain’s most iconic wine-producing regions.
The hotel will feature a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, spa, and parking facilities, and has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the area’s natural and cultural surroundings. The project will be developed by architect Rafael Aguilar Espizua, whose architectural proposal seeks to engage with both the landscape and the identity of Haro.
The city of Haro, internationally recognised for its winemaking tradition and its concentration of historic wineries, is one of the most representative centres of wine culture in Spain. With this new property, Vincci Hotels strengthens its commitment to destinations with a strong personality, where the hotel becomes a gateway to discovering the region, its gastronomy, and its winemaking heritage.
Both projects share the same philosophy: creating hotels with their own unique character, capable of interpreting the essence of the destination and translating it into the guest experience. This approach has been part of Vincci Hotels’ DNA since its inception and is reflected in the design, architecture, and concept of every property.
The presentation of these new projects also coincides with a particularly significant moment for the company. This year, Vincci Hotels celebrates its 25th anniversary, a journey that began in 2001 with the ambition of building a hotel group with its own identity and a distinctive approach to hospitality.
Since then, the company has developed a portfolio of urban and leisure hotels in key destinations, focusing on unique projects and a vision of hospitality in which place, architecture, and guest experience form part of the same narrative.
In this context, the company celebrates 25 years of the Vincci Perspective—the way in which the hotel group has understood hospitality throughout its history. It is a way of approaching and developing each project, based on respect for the character of each location, the integration of architecture with its surroundings, and meticulous attention to detail in the guest experience. A perspective that has accompanied the company’s growth since its beginnings and continues to guide its future evolution.
This anniversary also represents a moment to recognise the legacy of its founder, Rufino Calero, and the journey undertaken over the years, while marking the beginning of a new chapter in which the company continues to grow with the incorporation of new generations into the family business.
With this combination of accumulated experience and a forward-looking vision, Vincci Hotels reaffirms its commitment to a way of delivering hospitality based on the authenticity of places, attention to detail, and the creation of experiences that connect guests with each destination.
