The Bilbao Semana Grande is once again filling the city with music, gastronomy and celebration, and Vincci Consulado de Bilbao 4* is joining the festivities for another year with a special programme to experience Aste Nagusia from one of the most privileged locations in the Biscay capital. From August 22 to 30, its Kondutxo terrace will offer special menus, signature cocktails, sunset concerts, DJ sessions and exceptional views of the fireworks over the river. The programme is open to both hotel guests and the local public.

From August 22 to 30, the hotel is joining the Bilbao Semana Grande with a programme combining gastronomy, signature cocktails, live music and an exceptional location overlooking the river and the Guggenheim Museum. From August 22 to 30, Vincci Consulado de Bilbao 4* is joining the celebration of Aste Nagusia 2026 with a special programme designed to experience the festivities from one of the city's most privileged locations.

Overlooking the river and the Guggenheim Museum, the hotel invites both guests and local residents to enjoy its Kondutxo terrace, a space with exceptional views that becomes a meeting point during these days for those looking to celebrate the Semana Grande from a different perspective. Gastronomy, cocktails, music and fireworks come together in an experience that allows you to savour Bilbao at the heart of the festive atmosphere.

To mark the festivities, Vincci Consulado de Bilbao 4* will offer a special lunch menu available from Saturday, August 22 to Sunday, August 30, priced at €60 per person.

The menu begins with a chef's appetiser, seasonal tuna salad and Italian pepper stuffed with oxtail. For the main course, guests can choose between a duo of squid, Vincci-style cod, mature beef cheek with roasted peppers, or entrecôte with confit red pepper. To finish, the menu includes puff pastry with cream and hot chocolate, as well as a selection of drinks including water, beer and soft drinks, Emina white wine D.O. Rueda, Beronia Crianza red wine D.O.Ca. Rioja, coffee and infusions.

During the evenings from Saturday, August 22 to Wednesday, August 26, the hotel will offer an à la carte service for those wishing to reserve a table and enjoy views of the fireworks from the terrace. From Thursday, August 27 to Saturday, August 29, the offering will be completed with a special menu priced at €95 per person.

This dinner menu includes king prawn carpaccio with spider crab salad and roasted scallop served on pumpkin cream with vegetable vinaigrette as starters. The menu continues with turbot with vegetable stew and mushroom sofrito, cactus sorbet as a palate cleanser, tournedos fillet with truffle sauce and, to finish, a semi-frozen coffee dessert with raspberry powder. The drinks selection includes water, beer and soft drinks, Albariño Lusco white wine D.O. Rías Baixas, Beronia Reserva red wine D.O.Ca. Rioja, a glass of Anna Blanc de Blancs D.O. Cava, coffee and infusions.

The experience is also complemented by a signature cocktail selection, designed to accompany the festive atmosphere on the terrace and extend the afternoon before the highlight of each evening.

Live music and sunset DJ sessions

Vincci Consulado de Bilbao 4*'s Aste Nagusia programme will also feature live music, with performances starting at 5:30 p.m. and running until approximately 7:00 p.m..

On Saturday, August 22, Los Leños will perform an acoustic duo featuring a selection of Spanish pop-rock, with covers of groups and artists such as Los Secretos, La 5ª Estación, Nacha Pop, Leño and Luz Casal. On Sunday, August 23, Lee Junior will take the stage with vocals, guitar and backing tracks, performing commercial Spanish and international pop-rock songs.

On Monday, August 24, Trio Txorinho will bring chorinho, known as Brazilian jazz, together with classic bossa nova songs and other Brazilian music, in a lively, intimate and rhythmic concert to enjoy a summer afternoon.

The programme will continue on Thursday, August 27 with Gorka Naste, performing rock covers from the 1980s and 1990s, with references to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Supertramp, Police, Deep Purple, Bowie, Alaska, Earth, Wind & Fire and Barricada. On Friday, August 28, Brisa Flamenca will bring a flamenco guitar and vocals duo to the terrace. On Saturday, August 29, Baxter Jazz Trio will close the music programme with a repertoire of jazz standards led by Edu Basterra, a musician involved in projects with artists such as Fito & Fitipaldis, Mocedades, El Consorcio and Luciano Pavarotti.

DJ sessions will also complete the atmosphere on the terrace during the Semana Grande. DJ Asier will perform from August 22 to 25 and from August 27 to 29, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., while DJ Basi de la Fuente will perform on August 26 at the same time.
