Granada is preparing to celebrate its most important week of the year, and Vincci Albayzín 4* is once again joining the Corpus Fair festivities with a special programme that brings the spirit of the celebration into the heart of the hotel. Fair-themed décor, a specially designed gastronomic menu, exclusive guest experiences, nods to flamenco tradition, and the announcement of the “Al Detalle para el Recuerdo” Bullfighting Award will make the hotel one of the key places from which to experience this unmissable event for the people of Granada.

During the Corpus Fair, which in 2026 will take place from 30 May to 6 June, Granada fills with colour, tradition, and festive atmosphere to celebrate the arrival of one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the year. Vincci Albayzin 4*, located on the iconic Carrera de la Virgen, is joining the celebrations with a range of initiatives designed so that guests and visitors can also experience the fair from within the hotel, in a setting that combines Andalusian architecture, gastronomy, and local character.

Throughout the fair, the hotel’s public areas will be dressed in special décor recreating the atmosphere of these festive days. Its iconic inner courtyard, one of the hotel’s most distinctive spaces, will also be transformed for the occasion, featuring details that evoke the festive essence of Corpus and invite guests to experience Granada from within, with the hallmark of Vincci Hotels.

In addition, the hotel will make flamenco dresses available to guests so they can try them on, take photographs, and share the experience on social media. Under the concept “Experience the Fair Like a True Flamenco Dancer”, Vincci Albayzín 4* invites guests and visitors alike to immerse themselves in one of Andalusia’s most recognisable traditions in a fun and interactive way, creating memorable moments linked to the region’s cultural heritage.

The experience is further enhanced with special touches in the rooms, including fair information, hand fans, and hats—small details designed to ensure guests feel the spirit of Corpus from the moment they arrive at the hotel.

Special Gastronomy to Savour the Fair

From Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 June, Vincci Albayzín 4* will offer a special Corpus Fair menu at its Gran Patio La Acequia restaurant, located within the hotel’s stunning inner courtyard. This light-filled space features a glass roof, marble columns, Andalusian-inspired tiles, and a central fountain that evokes Granada’s architectural heritage and the city’s Arab legacy.

Priced at €28 per person (drinks not included), the menu offers a selection of dishes designed to pay tribute to the fair through gastronomy, combining premium ingredients, recognisable recipes, and subtle references to the festive and bullfighting traditions.

To start, diners can choose from options such as beetroot salmorejo with feta cheese and boiled egg, burrata with baby leaves, cherry tomatoes, black olive powder, and EVOO and basil vinaigrette, fried vegetable gyozas with wakame salad and teriyaki sauce, cured beef cecina with baby rocket, Parmesan shavings, and truffle oil, or oven-baked gilt-head bream “cape” served with mixed lettuce leaves, crudités, and honey mustard dressing.

Main courses include dishes such as swordfish “comb” in white wine and paprika sauce with baker-style potatoes and shallots, grilled tuna belly with teriyaki sauce and citrus parmentier, thousand-spice chicken “slippers” on roasted sweet potato with soy and lime mayonnaise, slow-cooked pork cheeks “tarasca” with mashed potatoes and red wine sauce, grilled beef sirloin with seasonal vegetables, or oven-baked gilt-head bream “cape” finished with garlic and parsley oil and a medley of seasonal vegetables.

The dessert selection continues the Corpus theme with creations such as the “Corpus Octave Brownkie” featuring caramel and chocolate with vanilla ice cream, a carrot and orange “paseíllo” sponge cake with meringue milk ice cream, pudding with white chocolate and caramel pearls, or a seasonal fruit “sword”.

A Programme Full of Andalusian Art

Vincci Albayzín 4*’s programme will also include an artistic initiative linked to Andalusian popular culture. This year, the hotel will host an exhibition of paintings inspired by the copla songs of Paco Jiménez, an artist who has previously collaborated with the property and who will now offer visitors a perspective connected to one of the most recognisable genres in Spanish musical identity.

Bullfighting tradition will once again play a prominent role. On Tuesday 9 June, once the Corpus Fair has concluded, the hotel will host the announcement of the Vincci Albayzín 4* “Al Detalle para el Recuerdo” Bullfighting Award, a distinction established by Vincci Hotels to recognise the most outstanding moments of the bullfighting events held during the fair.

With this event, the hotel reinforces its connection to Granada’s cultural and bullfighting traditions, maintaining a custom that forms part of its Corpus Fair programme and that each year brings together enthusiasts and professionals in a unique setting.
