Its Digital Detox Experience is a stay option for those who want to leave screens behind and immerse themselves in experiences connected with the destination, gastronomy, nature and wellbeing.

In a world where being available 24/7 has become almost an obligation, disconnecting is emerging as one of the great pleasures of leisure time. Hyperconnectivity, constant exposure to screens and the endless stream of messages and notifications mean that more and more travellers are seeking precisely the opposite during their holidays: a few days offline to truly rest. Increasingly, people are looking for a complete or partial digital detox in their leisure time to clear their minds, recharge their energy and enjoy themselves to the fullest, as a couple, with family or even alone. With this in mind, Vincci Hoteles is offering its Digital Detox Experience for the upcoming autumn long weekends. This experience can be booked as an optional stay package at selected hotels in the chain and is designed for those who spend too much time in front of screens and want to silence notifications and treat themselves to a few days to reconnect with what matters most.

The experience begins with a welcome for the guest and the voluntary safekeeping of their electronic devices (mobile phone, tablet, laptop). In return, the hotel offers recommendations to make the stay as enjoyable and detoxifying as possible. With each booking of this experience, Vincci Hoteles also sends an image bearing the message "CLOSED FOR #DETOX. Vincci Hoteles", which guests can share on social media to let their contacts know they will be offline for those days.

The Digital Detox Experience does not mean that participating hotels are exclusively “digital detox” properties; rather, it is an optional experience that guests can add to their stay, with different options linked to the destination. It can be enjoyed as a complete or flexible detox, respecting each guest’s pace, and combined with different activities and services designed to make the most of each destination. In Costa Adeje, those who choose Vincci Hoteles’ Digital Detox Experience can put screens aside and enjoy a range of activities designed to encourage disconnection and relaxation at Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur 5*, a hotel with a Canarian colonial style surrounded by tropical gardens.

These activities include a leisurely dinner at the Afuego restaurant, stargazing on Mount Teide, where visitors can admire one of the most spectacular skies in the world, and a yoga session overlooking the sea to start or end the day in a state of calm. Vincci Valdecañas Golf 4*: an active, natural detox

Water, trails, open skies and outdoor sports take centre stage in the Digital Detox Experience at Vincci Valdecañas Golf 4*, designed to help guests disconnect by reconnecting with the land, movement and tranquillity. In the province of Extremadura, between the Sierra de Gredos and Monfragüe National Park, Vincci Valdecañas Golf 4* is located in a magnificent natural setting: Isla de Valdecañas, on the reservoir of the same name in the north-east of the province of Cáceres. This property offers a package including accommodation, breakfast and dinner at its Ribereño Restaurant, from €89 per person in a double room.
