Vincci Hotels sweetens Christmas with its Charity Roscón de Reyes cake

This year, Vincci Hoteles’ traditional roscón celebration starts earlier, lasts longer and adds a charitable gesture to the experience. From 15 December to 7 January, the chain’s hotels in Spain will host the Rosconada Solidaria, an initiative that invites guests and visitors to enjoy this traditional Christmas sweet while helping to support the work of Aldeas Infantiles SOS.

The Three Wise Men are almost here, and the sweetest countdown to Christmas arrives this year at Vincci Hoteles through a new charitable initiative. Under the name Rosconada Solidaria, the hotel chain is launching, from 15 December to 7 January, an action that combines tradition, flavour and social commitment in collaboration with Aldeas Infantiles SOS, an organisation with which the hotel chain has maintained a close relationship since 2015.

With this proposal, Vincci Hoteles renews its annual charitable gesture by inviting everyone to share one of the most eagerly awaited festive rituals — the Roscón de Reyes — while helping to ensure that the festive spirit also reaches those who need it most.

How to contribute to this charitable initiative

During these weeks, Vincci Hoteles’ establishments will offer guests and customers a Rosconada Solidaria: a moment to enjoy breakfast or an afternoon snack in one of their bars and restaurants, featuring the traditional roscón served with coffee or hot chocolate. One euro from each snack will be donated to the child-support organisation...

In addition, the chain will sell a charity roscón. From each unit sold (€10), 50% of the amount will be donated to Aldeas Infantiles SOS, further strengthening its commitment to children’s well-being and protection.

Likewise, as an essential part of this initiative, Vincci Hoteles will promote an internal volunteering action. Any member of staff who wishes will be able to collaborate in person with Aldeas Infantiles SOS at its traditional Roscón de Reyes in Puerta del Sol, which in 2025 celebrates its 33rd edition and has already become an emblematic event of Christmas in Madrid.

Participants will be able to join in with logistical support, handing out portions or any of the roles assigned by the organisation, thus strengthening the human and participatory dimension of the project.

A commitment that grows year after year

The Rosconada Solidaria is part of Vincci Hoteles’ Corporate Social Responsibility programme, which for years has collaborated with Aldeas Infantiles SOS through social and corporate volunteering, training initiatives for young people, micro-donation campaigns and other joint actions that intensify at key moments of the year and in emergency situations such as the SOS DANA Valencia campaign, designed to support families affected by last year’s floods in the region. This ongoing relationship reflects the chain’s desire to support the organisation in its work protecting children and assisting families.
