On February 27, the International Cocido Day is celebrated, and as every year, Vincci Hoteles pays tribute to this icon of Spanish gastronomy with its special “Cocido Route.” This edition will take place in three of its establishments: Vincci Soma 4* and Vincci Capitol 4* in Madrid, and Vincci Mae 4* in Barcelona, where lovers of traditional cuisine can enjoy an authentic Madrid-style cocido served in the traditional three-course format.

Faithful to its commitment to offering authentic gastronomic experiences connected to each destination, Vincci Hoteles invites guests to celebrate International Cocido Day on February 27 with a slow-cooked Madrid-style cocido, prepared with the finest quality ingredients following the most traditional recipe.

In Madrid, the Restaurante Soma at Vincci Soma 4* will serve its cocido every Friday for €30. The menu includes cocido broth soup, chickpeas, hen, beef shank, ham, bacon, pork belly, blood sausage, and chorizo. Diners can enjoy this comforting dish in an elegant and cozy atmosphere, perfect for colder days. Reservations can be made by calling 91 435 75 45.

Meanwhile, at Capitol Food&Bar at Vincci Capitol 4*, right in the heart of the capital, guests can enjoy the classic Madrid-style cocido in three servings, accompanied by a gin and tonic. Available every Friday for €28, this gastronomic experience can be booked at 91 521 83 91.

For those in Barcelona who don’t want to miss out on this experience, the Terraza West Food&Bar at Vincci Mae 4* will offer its version of cocido every Friday for €32. Additionally, guests can opt for a unique relaxation experience by adding a three-hour nap in a double room for an additional €80. A combination of gastronomy and rest in the heart of Barcelona. The tradition of three servings


Following tradition, the cocido will be served in three courses: first, the comforting broth soup; then, the chickpeas with vegetables; and finally, the meats, including beef shank, hen, bacon, chorizo, and blood sausage, among others.
