Each suite has been meticulously redesigned to offer a personalised experience that reflects the city’s multicultural essence. Noble materials, warm tones and handcrafted details give shape to a new concept of contemporary luxury with Andalusian soul.

Vincci Selección Posada del Patio 5*, the city’s first five-star hotel and the only one with direct access to the Arab wall, opens a new chapter in its history with the full renovation of its suites. A project committed to emotional design and exclusivity, without losing sight of the past or the hotel’s multicultural essence.

Designed to become true urban sanctuaries, the new suites reinterpret the soul of Málaga through a contemporary lens, using noble materials, cosy textures, and a colour palette that evokes the warmth of the Mediterranean. The result: spaces that combine elegance and comfort, tradition and modernity, design and functionality.

17 suites, 17 unique personalities

The project, developed in collaboration with the CIDON studio, highlights the individuality of each space. The 17 suites have been individually redesigned, respecting the original architecture and giving each one its own personality.

Natural oak and walnut wood are paired with textured fabrics, non-floral prints, and rattan and bamboo accents, in a warm and sophisticated proposal that breaks away from the standard. Rather than replicating a pattern, each suite presents its own character, always maintaining the hotel’s overall harmony.

The interior design aims to evoke feelings: an immersive atmosphere that connects with the guest from the first moment, with integrated living areas, carefully studied lighting, and a layout that invites relaxation, inspiration, and slow enjoyment.

Burnt orange, deep green, and night blue tones define a serene yet characterful palette, adding depth without overwhelming. Decorative elements feature organic lines, natural finishes, and meticulous attention to detail.

The renovation has also significantly improved the overall comfort of the rooms, which now offer a warmer and more functional experience. This enhanced sense of well-being is evident from the outset, thanks to the thoughtful layout of the spaces, integration of seating areas, and selection of materials that promote relaxation.



In addition, the bathrooms in these suites have been completely refurbished by a specialised design studio, incorporating a modern and functional aesthetic. High-end amenities round out an experience designed for slow enjoyment and self-care, in line with the standards of excellence that define this five-star establishment.

This renovation completes the aesthetic transformation project of the hotel initiated by interior designer Alejandra Pombo, who revitalised both rooms and common areas, enhancing iconic spaces such as the central patio and the Arab wall integrated into the building.

In this second phase, CIDON has managed the logistics, furnishings and installation, incorporating noble materials and a colour palette that reinterprets the hotel’s multicultural and historical essence with a modern, sophisticated approach.

A hotel in constant evolution

This ambitious renovation of the rooms follows the recent makeover of the hotel’s restaurant, Entremuros, Raíces de Málaga, which has reopened with a gastronomic proposal deeply rooted in Málaga and a new interior design that reinterprets the city’s identity through organic materials and evocative lighting.

Thus, Vincci Selección Posada del Patio continues its aesthetic and conceptual renewal to remain a benchmark hotel in Málaga, where every detail reflects the spirit, history, and present of the place.
