The General Director of Vincci Hotels announces the opening of a new boutique hotel in Lisbon.

As part of FITUR 2025, Carlos Calero, General Director of Vincci Hotels, announced this Thursday, January 23rd, the opening of Vincci Alfama 4*, a new boutique hotel in Lisbon that strengthens the hotel chain's presence in Portugal and becomes its sixth hotel in the neighboring country.

Located in the iconic Alfama district of Lisbon, the hotel is housed in the historic building that previously accommodated the former Institute of Arts and Crafts (IAO) of the Ricardo Espírito Santo Foundation (FRESS). This building, of great architectural and cultural value, has a twin structure on the nearby R. São Tomé street, which currently serves as the FRESS headquarters. The renovation of the property has preserved its original essence, paying homage to both its history and São Vicente, the patron saint of Lisbon.

Additionally, its excellent location allows guests to comfortably explore the historic corners of the Portuguese capital, as well as its famous labyrinthine streets with fabulous views over the Tagus River.
