Our chain has two new destinations in the area: Vincci Marillia 4* (Hammamet) and Vincci El Mansour 4* (Mahdia), both perfect for enjoying the magnificent beaches and traditions of Tunisia. Both complexes have direct access to the beach, extensive gardens, a number of swimming pools, restaurants with varied gastronomy and wellness areas.
2016 brings good news. And new destinations. This time it’s Tunisia’s turn. Vincci Hoteles is starting to run, as hotel managers, two new hotel complexes in the country: Vincci Marillia 4* (Hammamet), which opens its doors on 20 May, and Vincci El Mansour 4* (Mahdia), which will begin operating on 1 of June. With these latest additions, we now have six properties in the country, where we’ve been operating since 2001. The two new hotels are in addition to the two we already have in Hammamet (Vincci Flora Park-Adults Only 4* and Vincci Nozha Beach & Spa 4*) and the two we have in Djerba (Vincci Hélios Beach 4* and Vincci Djerba Resort 4*).
Vincci Marillia 4* (Hammamet)
Vincci Marillia 4* is located in the Hammamet area, famous for its jasmine plantations. In a privileged spot, just 60km from the capital, the hotel is found right by idyllic Tunisian beaches.
The complex is made up of three main buildings with 352 rooms, designed in the local style. It has direct access to the beach, with free hammocks and beach umbrellas for the guests. It also has three outside pools: a 1,320 metre one, an Olympic pool and one for children. Sports lovers can enjoy a wide range of facilities and activities, including tennis courts, a volleyball court and even diving classes.
All the rooms have satellite TV, telephone, air conditioning and sea-view terrace. The hotel also offers: “Aphrodite” Spa treatments, rewarding gym workouts, Beauty Salon sessions, meetings in the conference room and swimming in the heated pool.
Vincci Marillia 4* also offers a variety of gastronomic options, with the choice of dining in the main “Alyssa” restaurant, sampling the Asian cooking in the “Tahini” restaurant, or lunching accompanied by incredible views at the pool restaurant “El Kebir”.
Vincci El Mansour 4* (Mahdia)
Vincci El Mansour 4* is located in the Mahdia district, in Eastern Central Tunisia. It’s our first property in the region, set in a privileged location thanks to the magnificent beaches, the traditional coastal village atmosphere, the medina quarter and fishing port. It’s a place dedicated to fishing and silk weaving. Here in this picturesque spot you’ll find Vincci El Mansour 4*, located close to the town centre (just 3.5 km away) and right on the beach, with good access to the main airports, with Monastir 50km away and Enfidha 125km.
The complex is made up of four main buildings along with a number of bungalows, all in the typical design of the region, with white taking centre stage. It has direct beach access, along with extensive gardens, a terrace and a huge 1,600 square metre pool with small planted islands, as well as a dedicated children’s pool.
Inside, marble with high columns supporting a dome in the lobby bring to mind classical luxury, with hints of Arabic design in the windows and other details. In the other public spaces the interior design is inspired by a fusion of Andalusian and Arabic styles, perfectly expressing the exotic feel of this part of Africa.
Vincci El Mansour 4* has 307 rooms, all with air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, amenities, etc. It also has a number of bungalows next to the sea, with their own gardens. The facilities include: conference room, gym and heated pool, with heating in winter. It also has a Talasotherapy centre, “L’Olympe”, offering a wide variety of treatments, massages, sauna and beauty salon.
And to get your strength back, the complex has a Tunisian restaurant: “El Fatimi”, with a menu focused on traditional local cuisine. The hotel also has other options, including an Italian restaurant; lobby bar with terrace, for even more relaxed eating; an Arabic style café; lounge bar; and pool bar with barbecue for the guests.
Vincci El Mansour 4* also has a programme of activities for both children and adults, including tennis, volleyball, minigolf and diving.
