Good news from Berlin! Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur 5* has received a TUI Holly 2017, awarded by the TUI Group, which each year honours the 100 most popular and highly rated hotels around the world among German tourists.
The award was presented at a gala held on Monday, attended by Director of Procurement for Vincci Hoteles Vacacional, Rosa Pérez, and Director of Accommodation, Miguel Fuentes.
The award recognises the incredible quality of the diverse services Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur 5* offers its guests, such as the impeccable state of the installations, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, its gastronomic offering, the level of client service, etc. Attention to detail that has seen the hotel win an award on seven different occasions since 2011. “We are proud to receive, once again, this recognition from the German market that values the work we put in every day at the hotel, to offer the finest experience possible”, said Miguel Fuentes, director of Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur 5*.
German tour operator TUI awards these prizes annually based on a survey of over half a million clients to discover, according to their opinions and experiences, the best hotels in the world to enjoy quality vacations. In this year’s edition 35 Spanish hotels were selected (15 in the Balearic Islands, 15 in the Canary Islands and 5 on the Spanish mainland), with the Vincci Hoteles’ establishment among them.

Our hotel, that’s the star of the show today, is located between the beaches of El Duque and La Caleta, on the Costa Adeje. The hotel has a distinct architectural style, based on Tenerife’s colonial tradition. It has 163 rooms and a 2,500 m2 Nammu Spa with 16 treatment cabins, three thermal circuits (a Canary Islands circuit, a volcanic rock circuit using local stones and a Celtic circuit) and an outdoor vitality pool with hydromassage and swan neck showers.
The hotel is surrounded by tropical gardens with five pools, two with waterfalls, a children’s pool, one for swimming, a heated pool and the Spa pool. Furthermore, it has a complete gastronomic offering, with three restaurants (buffet, à la carte and snack-bar), the “El Buffet” restaurant, with live cooking; the à la carte restaurant “El Gourmet Canario” and the evening grill restaurant “El Mercado”, located by the pools, and two cafés.
