Vincci Lys 4* unveils a new design, created by Triggo Decoración, which invites relaxation in a Mediterranean inspired space, with touches of Nordic style. A welcoming atmosphere that’s simply perfect to enjoy the “Homemade&Healthy” breakfasts, which let you start the day with energy while taking care of your figure, or to finish the day with a delicious cocktail.
A new design
Vincci Lys 4* updates its design and facilities to offer its guests even greater comfort, while also creating a charming place to relax in the centre of Valencia (Calle Martínez Cubells, 5) where everyone is welcome to enjoy breakfast, tapas and cocktails. The renovations, carried out at a cost of 1.1 million euros, have altered a number of parts of this boutique hotel, the first the chain opened in the city, in 2002.
Among the changes is the new interior design, by Carmen Montoro of Triggo Decoración, which conserves the classical essence of the hotel, while giving it a new, more modern, air. The inspiration is taken from the Mediterranean way of life, with pastel colours, and the materials and textures employed; standouts include the use of wood for the pieces of furniture, the wicker in the lamps, and the use of natural fabrics both in the furniture and the sheer curtains. A large sofa takes pride of place as the central focus of reception, bringing, together with the counter, character and personality to the area. All these elements are combined with pieces in the Nordic-style, which are characterised by the purity of the materials used, bringing a contemporary feel while making the area both comfortable and tranquil, inviting relaxation and making a stay at Vincci Lys 4* even more pleasant.
“Homemade&Healthy”
It’s the perfect place, for both hotel guests and anyone who finds themselves in the city and fancies it, to enjoy an evening cocktail or to start the day with the hotel’s “Homemade&Healthy” breakfasts, including hand-prepared, freshly-squeezed, natural juices; special smoothies for sports lovers with blends of fruit and vegetables; soy and lactose-free milk; herbal teas; a selection of freshly prepared seasonal fruits; wholemeal and cereal breads; fresh tomatoes; virgin olive oil; seasonal vegetables; gazpacho; and mini-salads. It’s a healthy section, helping you start the day with energy, while watching your figure at the same time, with summer just around the corner.
The hotel also offers a special breakfast for diabetics, with muesli, sugar-free marmalade, chocolate biscuits, sponge cakes with raisins and diet pastry lacitos; and another for coeliac, with bread, cup cakes with chocolate chunks and home-made muffins. Over and above all that, the breakfasts at Vincci Lys offer even more, to cater for every taste: coffee, a range of bakery products, cereals, toast, home-made sweets (mini pots of caramel custard, mini cheese cakes, mini chocolate or carrot muffins), hand-made churros, a hot product corner (Spanish omelette, patatas a lo pobre (fried potatoes with onion), scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and fresh mini sausages) and a local produce section with sobresada, olive pâté and dried fruits.

The hotel’s 101 extremely spacious rooms are fully equipped with up-to-date mod-cons and services, to satisfy the needs of even the most demanding traveller: air conditioning and heating, direct telephone, satellite TV, safe, well stocked minibar, hair-dryer, internet, welcome pack and pillow menu. Many of the rooms have a terrace with magnificent views over the city. Its privileged location, in a tranquil pedestrianised street, a stone’s throw from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and the Plaza de Toros, surrounded by the finest boutiques, restaurants and iconic landmarks of the city, mean you can walk to all the major points of interest, whether you are here for business or pleasure. The hotel has a conference room for work meetings or other events and parking with direct access to the hotel.
