We really wanted to reveal one of the surprises that we’ve been preparing for a while, and we can finally do it: in 2013, Vincci Hotels will open a new hotel in Lisbon.
What can we tell you about this future establishment? To start off, it will be a four-star hotel, like its fellow Vincci Baixa (the first and only hotel that our chain has in the Portuguese capital at the moment). As for its facilities, it will have 85 rooms totally equipped with the best amenities, plus a lounge&bar, and meeting room.In addition to its exclusive facilities and services, the new hotel’s other strong suit is its location. Sticking to Vincci Hotels’ philosophy, we’ve once again selected a strategic locale of prominent monumental, historical, and scenic interest value.
If with Vincci Baixa we wanted to be present in la Baixa — one of the most animated areas of Lisbon, with a great selection of stores, numerous terraces, and oft frequented by musicians and artists — we can now boast about being in another of the busiest areas in the Portuguese capital. It’s for good reason that the new hotel is located at number 16 on the centrally located street Rosa Araujo, very near the idyllic Avenida Liberdade, known for its tree-lined esplanade inspired by the Parisian Champs Elysees.
To quote Carlos Calero, Vincci Hotels’ managing director, “with this new opening, we expect to strengthen our presence in Portugal and continue with one of our main objectives, the internationalization of our company.”
