Valencia is a city full of life; it’s no coincidence that it’s one of the most visited in all of Spain, by Spaniards and international tourists alike. A city closely tied to the sea, that artfully blends historical and cultural heritage with avant-garde elements, like the City of Arts and Sciences. And at the heart of this sun drenched city the Hotel Vincci Lys 4* has seen 13 years of guests coming and going – on business trips, family holidays, romantic breaks or trips with friends. And this January we’re celebrating our anniversary: 13 incredibly lucky years, being able to accompany our guests during their time in this marvellous city.
Located by the train station and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, it occupies a privileged spot to begin exploring a city full of possibilities. From here we’ve seen excited groups of youngsters head off to the Oceanographic, the biggest aquarium in Europe, with more than 500 marine species, or the planetarium, in the City of Arts and Sciences. Older couples with tickets for the opera in the Palau de las Arts Reina Sofía and families who can’t wait for a day on the beach and a Valencian paella. They’ve all come back after a day full of activities and fun to rest in our elegant, welcoming rooms.
Our staff, always focused on making sure the hotel guests’ stay is as comfortable as possible, have witnessed all sorts of funny situations and helped the travellers discover the delights of the city, recommending areas of culinary interest, interesting parks where children can zoom down an original set of slides that are unique in Spain, or authentic UNESCO-recognised jewels, like the Lonja de Seda.
