The long hot summer days are here, and with them the need to find somewhere to cool off. So why not leave to one side the typical ideas of heading to the beach or the swimming pool, and head for some real fun? Water parks are the perfect spot to have thrilling time, and they are ideal if you’re travelling as a family or with children. Here are just some of the many parks to be found around Spain.
Water Parks in Spain
Siam Park, Tenerife’s Water Park
Europe’s biggest water park has over 185,000 square metres of pure fun. It was built in 2008, so has new installations. It’s also a very special park, thanks to its oriental theme. The rides will take you to far away lands, where figures like that of the dragon make for a unique atmosphere.
Siam Park has rides for children of every type, from the most daring to the most serene, as well as its own beach and the possibility of meeting the sea lions up close.

Siam Park is on the Adeje Coast, less than 15 minutes by car from the hotel Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur 5* Lujo Tenerife. It’s one of the island’s finest luxury hotels and offers amazing sea views.
The first thing you’ll notice is its welcoming colonial style, and you’ll love the rooms, and of course the villas, which are separate from the hotel and perfect if you’re looking for even more privacy. However, if you’re travelling with children we’d recommend you book into one of the suites (Junior Suite or Royal Suite), where you’ll have even more space for extra comfort. The whole family will delight in the living room and outdoor terrace.
