Our hotel in Seville is taking part, from 11 October to 19 November, in the now traditional Gastronomic Cooking Days “Spoonfuls of Andalusia” event (Jornadas Gastronómicas de Cocina “Cucharas de Andalucía”), which for its 16th edition is entitled: ‘A spoonful and a step back: soups, casseroles and stews’, from the Andalusian expression referring to the old style of eating when everyone shared the same bowl and stepped back after taking a spoonful. Vincci La Rábida 4* will be offering a menu for the occasion with flavours from the past, bringing the cooking of Andalusian grandmothers and mothers to our gastronomic sessions.
Soups, bisques, broths, stews, casseroles and even hotpots will take centre stage in Seville, both the city and its surrounding region, until the end of November, bringing the most familiar, evocative Andalusian gastronomy to all who want to experience it. Vincci La Rábida 4* (C/Castelar 24) is taking part, offering its own menu, which harks back to Sevillian dishes from past times, with a particular focus on the cooking of grandmothers and mothers of past generations.
Vincci La Rábida 4* wanted its menu to be a nod to the most traditional recipes, lovingly prepared by the hotel’s culinary team and always using the freshest, top-quality ingredients. Our menu is as follows:
Aunty’s Corner
Gazpachuelo from Malaga, with hake and prawns
Ajo caliente from Cadiz
Salmorejo from Cordoba
Grandma’s Calderito
Potatoes with cuttlefish
Chickpeas with octopus
Grandma’s meatballs

Located in the centre of the city, in the Barrio del Arenal, a stone’s throw from the Cathedral of Seville and the Plaza de Toros, “La Maestranza”, Vincci La Rábida 4* is home to the restaurant Los Patios, where you can savour this menu during the Gastronomic Days.
