At Vincci Hoteles we’re taking on the challenge posed by the global trend which sees society moving towards the pursuit of pure experiences – tourism included. Fully aware as we are that travellers are constantly changing and evolving, our proposal for 2019 is for our guests not just to visit a destination, but also to really live them – through all the events and moments that take place over the year at each of our nearly 40 establishments in Spain, Portugal and Tunisia.

The way we discover new places is continually changing, just as the profile of tourists alters too. That’s why we’ve changed our concept of what a hotel is, taking it from a mere place to stay to the idea of a property full of unforgettable experiences. In 2019, we’re going to double down on this concept, ensuring all our guests can experience unique and unforgettable moments whether they are staying for holiday or work, or combining a business trip with a few days off.
According to Vincci Hoteles general manager, Carlos Calero, “the traveller, without doubt, has set the pace of our modernisation because they change their demands and requirements every day and we must be agile and adapt to them. Today, aware of and in line with this lifestyle change towards seeking pure experiences, Vincci Hoteles believes that this new way of travelling should be taken into consideration both inside and outside its hotels, inviting guests to have an emotional relationship with both the hotel and its location”.
More experience-based tourism initiatives at Vincci Hoteles
That’s why, this year, we’ve increased our initiatives relating to experience-based tourism, “which add additional satisfaction on top of the good service and great location that are already Vincci Hoteles essentials. For the company, it is no longer enough to offer tranquillity, a privileged setting, a wide range of tourist options or the beauty of a place. Above and beyond that, the desire now is to offer pure experiences”, says Carlos Calero.
We’ve been focused on this for the past few years, putting in place initiatives such as exclusive private visits to the Arab wall found at Vincci Selección Posada del Patio 5* (Málaga); the Vincci Fresh Sessions, the funnest, freshest music sessions around, at various hotels including Vincci The Mint 4* (Madrid) and Vincci Porto 4* (Porto, Portugal); the art exhibition ‘Art Brut’ at Vincci Mae 4*; the classic cinema film cycle ‘peli y manta’ (‘films from under a blanket’) at Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya 5* or the digital detox experience at Vincci Selección Estrella del Mar 5* and its Beach Club Estrella del Mar.
In addition to all these experiences this year we’re going to add more relating to gastronomy and culture, creating unique and surprising moments that help boost the relationship and understanding of our guests with the place they are staying.
