Easter is one of the more important festivities in Spain. These days, emotions run high on every Spanish village, region and city. Some people, though, prefer to escape routine and tradition and chose to know other countries and cultures, as it is the case with Tunisia. There are four very different emotions that define the Easter holiday.

– Devotion: The Saetas, the devotional, spontaneous songs, can be heard through the narrow streets of Andalusia. Joy and cheers are poof of the people’s emotion, sometimes mixed with a reverent silence. Malaga, Seville and Granada are three mandatory visits for someone who wants to know Easter’s true meaning, and our Vincci Hotels are perfectly placed for achieving that.

In Malaga, you will enjoy all the processions from the balconies of the Vincci Selección Posada del Patio 5*, being able to take a myriad pictures from there and capture an unforgettable moment. Every Easter night, the brotherhoods parade their sculpts through the Santa Isabel Avenue.

If you visit Seville, we suggest you to stay in the Vincci La Rábida 4* Sevilla Hotel, , located downtown. There you will enjoy the main processions, ‘Cristo del Gran Poder’ and ‘el Calvario’, that pass in front of the very hotel’s door.  Other important processions, as the ‘Esperanza de Triana or ‘El Baratillo’, take place within walking distance of the hotel.

But if Granada is your selected destination, your best choices would be either the Vincci Albayzín 4* or the Vincci Granada 4*. In this case, you will also be able to enjoy the singing that accompanies the processions that will parade through the hotel street and other nearby streets.

But Andalusia is not the only Spanish region passionate about this festivity. Castile Leon keeps a reverent, sober silent in their processions, making them something worth visiting. Vincci Hotels proposes you to stay in the Frontaura 4* Valladolid Hotel. Modernism and traditional gastronomy come together in this functional seven-storey building. Plus, its excellent thermal facilities are ideal for relaxing at the end of the day.

– Gluttony: “torrijas”, “huesos de santo”, garlic soup, “potaje”, pancakes, croquettes… Although Easter is supposed to be a time for austerity and fasting, it is also the opportunity to enjoy our gastronomy. Our Vincci Soma 4* Madrid Hotel offers an exquisite culinary variety. Its huge windows are open to the splendid views of Goya Street, in the exclusive Salamanca neighbourhood, offering a light ambience for lunch and a warmer, inviting one for dinner.

Euphoria: euphoria for the sea, the beach and for wearing a swimsuit again. If weather is good, why not spending your free days sunbathing and swimming? Canary Islands are a great option for that. In Tenerife, the Vincci Buenavista Golf Hotel offers you beach, mountain and the opportunity to live a complete golf experience. Vincci has another two hotels in the island, so you can chose the one that better suits your taste. The Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur 5* and the Vincci Tenerife Golf 4* are both luxurious hotels where you will enjoy a wonderful holiday.
