TENERIFE
Just off the west coast of Africa you’ll find the Tenerife, the largest island in he “Canaries”. At it’s highest point, Tenerife is 3717 metres above sea level and since the island only covers a little more than 2000 square kilometres you can imagine what kind of diverse and interesting journeys you can take whilst trying to reach the summit of Spain’s highest summit. It’s southern situation and it’s inevitable sea breeze means you’ll get very little in the way of climate change throughout the whole year, which makes it a very popular destination for visitors from all over Europe if not the world.
The capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, famous for it’s yearly “Carnival” is also known for it’s beauty, port and beaches like the one you’ll find in the fishing neighbourhood of Las Teresitas.
