Although in Madrid it has been taking place for eight years, this initiative kicked off in New York City more than 16 years ago and its goal is for everyone to be able to go to a quality restaurant for a reasonable price. So, the price of the menu is the same as in the previous edition, 25 euros plus VAT, both for lunches and dinners.
The best of all about this is its solidarity action: one euro from every meal you pay is destined to the Aladina Foundation, that helps children with cancer and their families, and the Spanish Heart Foundation.
Our SoMa Restaurant’s menu for this edition includes:
Cod cooked at low temperature with garlic soup, mashed potatoes and croutons in squid ink.
Iberian sirloin, caramelized endive with smoked bacon, goat cheese emulsion and diced quince.
And for dessert, mango puree, white chocolate mousse and Lacasitos or coffee.
All this for 25 euros plus VAT (excluding drinks).
If you feel like trying these delicacies, you can reserve online through Atrápalo or by calling by telephone the restaurant (+34 914 364 548), indicating that you would like to have this menu.
For those of you who still haven’t been there, our Restaurant is located on the first floor of the Vincci Soma 4* hotel in the heart of Madrid’s Salamanca district (c/ Goya 79). If you come by car, don’t worry about parking as we’ve got our own parking. We’ll be waiting for you!
