Seven years ago yesterday the Vincci Hotel family welcomed a new member, in Valladolid, with the birth of Vincci Frontaura 4* Valladolid, on the city’s main thoroughfare, the Paseo de Zorrilla. So we’d like to take this opportunity to say, happy birthday!

Seven years, one for each of the hotel’s seven floors that are full of stylish design and useful function, offering the guests pure comfort above all else. Located, as it is, in the heart of the Castilian capital it’s handy for every landmark and place of interest. So whether you’re in town on business or for pleasure, Vincci Frontaura 4* Valladolid is the place to stay, thanks to its perfect location. In the rooms you’ll find care has been taken over every detail; you’ll also find elegant design and touches such as a pillow menu.

The hotel also offers an oasis of calm and relaxation, in its Nammu Corner Area Spa, which has three different areas: you can look after your body in the Sports Area, with both cardio and weights machines; pamper yourself with a massage in the Thermal Area; or indulge in a steam bath in our Thermal Leisure Area. Your privacy meanwhile is our priority – you can attend with a group of your choice, up to a maximum of four people.

The Tastevin restaurant has been one of the stalwarts of the hotel during its seven-year life. We recommend trying the traditional gastronomy of Castile-Leon, updated with modern touches, as you enjoy the views of the Parque de la Alameda through the large windows. It’s the perfect place to take your time over lunch, or to indulge in a wonderful dinner.

The hotel’s cafeteria-lounge has an outstanding avant-garde design and a welcoming atmosphere, with warm red leather on the comfy seats and sofas. You can sit back and chat as you enjoy a creamy coffee or a delicious cocktail, right in the heart of the city.

And, up to the end of June, Valladolid is inviting you to explore the city with thePaseos de Primavera [link in Spanish] (‘Spring Footsteps’) initiative. There are 10 different tours, to satisfy every taste. For art lovers there’s a visit to the ‘El Greco’ exhibition in the Palacio de Villena; those who seek the tranquillity of nature will be delighted by the new environmental itinerary, ‘Esgueva Nature Tour’; and for those with children the best option is ‘Duendeando’ (literally, going ‘Goblining’, a walk through a fantastic park with a goblin who’ll fascinate both adults and children with tales and legends).

However, if you prefer something truly original and entertaining, why not try a performance tour with actors to entertain you as you go, or a wine tour, along the banks of the Duero river, from where the wine region, Ribera del Duero, takes its name. You can find out more about the tours here [link in Spanish] and get ready to discover Valladolid!

Today we’re delighted to be able to celebrate the seventh anniversary of the Vincci Frontaura 4* Valladolid opening its doors.
