Casa-Museo de Colon
A museum dedicated to Christopher Columbus, installed in a house belonging to the family at its request. In the museum, one finds 16th century furniture, a collection of ceramic pieces, a display of Americanist art, models of ships, books, and navigation instruments in an exhibit which seeks to evoke the conquest's historical significance.
Science Museum
With its temporary and permanent science and educational exhibits, this didactic, conceptually based, interactive museum for the masses features a playful atmosphere.
Tapas
Valladolid’s central area and the area around the main square are popular on account of the numerous bars and pleasant atmosphere for indulging in tapas, and wines, as well as on account of its outdoor eating areas, where one can savour regional bar snacks and house specialities.

Bullfights
If you are a bullfighting fan, visit the Valladolid bullring, whose building materials consist of stone, brick, iron and wood. Located right on the Paseo Zorilla, it was designed by the architect, Teodosio Torres and was inaugurated in 1890.
The 2007 season runs throughout the month of September with the festival of the Virgin of Saint Lawrence and during the month of August with the Festival of Saint Peter Regalado.
Next to the bullring ticket offices, one finds the new bullfighting Museum.
Shopping
Valladolid, the capital of Castile and Leon, is now a large and modern city, in which the most important and well known companies and boutiques are present. While on an afternoon stroll, one can take the occasion to do some "shopping" on Santiago street, on the street parallel to it known as Maria de Molina, as well as on streets running perpendicular to these.

Film:
International Film Week in Valladolid is one of the oldest and most consolidated Festivals held in Europe. Popularly known as SEMINCI, the Valladolid Festival is open to all types of film (full length films, short films, fiction, documentaries, series, film school productions…), with programming criteria which emphasize rigor and diversity in the selection process.
Valladolid’s 52nd International Film Week will be held from October 26 to November 3, 2007.
