HUELVA
Huelva, Onoba and Welba are but of the few names this city has been known as in it’s time, which given the most recent reports it’s the oldest city in the whole of the peninsula.
Considering its privileged location between the rivers Odiel and the river Tinto, this city, sitting in the bay of Guadiana has the benefit of both the Mediterranean climate along with an Atlantic breeze, from which the city is separated by the so called “ Barra de Huelva” to the north, the river and a series of small lands to the south. Where the sea can be seen and smelled from every corner it goes without saying that the ocean plays an important part here, hence the reason that the modern port was constructed, half fishing industry and half industrial.
