Today is one of those special days in Vincci Hotels. One of those days when we announce news that’s undoubtedly for us one of the most exciting things we’ve got tell. And it’s that we’re going to very soon have a new hotel in one of our favorite cities: Granada.
It’ll be called the Vincci Albayzín 4*, and it’ll open its doors at the end of the year and will be the third Vincci establishment in the Granada province, where we’ve already got our centrally located Vincci Granada 4*, located in Granada’s capital and our charming Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya 5*, in Sierra Nevada.
This new Vincci will occupy the emblematic hotel that up until now has been known as Hotel Albayzín, located on the Carrera de la Virgen, one of the most central, pleasant and best connected areas of the city. Its reopening will take place at the end of the year, once the modernizing and redecorating of the hotel is completed.
For those of you who don’t know it, the establishment occupies a traditional Andalusian courthouse building with an interior patio that provides light to the different rooms. Its a building in typical Granada style that we’ve decorated according to the our chain’s philosophy: a balance between modernity and respect for the essence and style of of the environment where the building is located.
Once reformed, the hotel will have 104 rooms and all the conveniences needed for a perfect stay, among them, an a la carte restaurant, cafeteria bar, gym with a sauna and parking.
Regarding its location, it couldn’t be better: next to the Basilica de la Angustis -patron of the city-, 100 meters from the Puerta Real, 500 meters from the Granada Cathedral, 10 minutes on foot from the Albayzín neighborhood and perfectly connected with the Alhambra, as well as the city’s Palacio de Congresos, and with the airport and highways that head towards the Sierra Nevada and the Granada coast.
We can’t deny it… we love Andalucia, it’s one of our favorite destinations and why we didn’t hesitate to increase our presence in the community. There, as you know, up until now we’ve had a total of nine hotels: Vincci La Rábida 4* (Sevilla), Vincci Málaga 4* and Vincci Selección Posada del Patio 5* (Málaga), Vincci Selección Estrella del Mar 5* (Marbella), Vincci Selección Aleysa Boutique&Spa 5* (Benalmádena), Vincci Costa Golf 4* (Cádiz), Vincci Mediterráneo 4* (Almería) and our already mentioned Vincci Granada 4* (Granada) and Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya 5* (Sierra Nevada).
We’re delighted that to all of them we can now add the Vincci Albayzín 4*. We’re looking forward to enjoying it. You? Surely the wait’s worth it. We’ll keep you posted on how the project is going. We can’t wait to launch our new Vincci Albayzín 4*!
