We have some great news this week. Our hotel, the Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur 5* Luxury Tenerife, has been recognised as one of the 100 best hotels in the world in the TUI Holly 2014 awards, based on the opinions and experiences of hotel guests.
The award is given by international tour operator TUI, who since 1994 have been judging the best hotels based on a number of criteria, such as the hotel installations, client service, cleanliness and services offered, among others.
The award will be presented in Seville on 11 September at an official ceremony. The event will also highlight the reasons behind the award: the hotel’s location, the family-friendly atmosphere, the environmental commitment, and most importantly, the guests’ ratings.
However, this isn’t the first time our hotel in the Canary Islands has won this award. The Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur 5* Luxury Tenerife was selected as a TUI Holly winner twice before, in 2011 and 2013.
Among its many plus points it’s worth point out the hotel’s fine location, between the beach of La Caleta and El Duque castle. It’s a privileged spot offering the finest views of Southern Tenerife from many of the rooms.

With a colonial design typical of Tenerife the hotel has rooms, suites and deluxe Villas, independent dwellings placed around the gardens with private Jacuzzis, solariums and a range of baths. For those looking for real privacy they’re perfect for a break.
But at this hotel exclusivity goes by one name: the Imperial Suite. It’s the concept of luxury expressed as a hotel room. Located on the ground floor it has the same facilities as the other suites, but is more spacious and has its own garden, private Jacuzzi and, if you want, its own exclusive butler service.

Our hotel in the Canary Islands is also the perfect place to relax, with its Nammu Spa, the jewel of the luxurious complex. It has five pools, a solarium and garden areas, where you can pamper yourself and unwind. Its 2,500 square metres offer personalised thermal circuits, such as the ‘Canarian Circuit’, set in a volcanic cave and which finishes in one of the treatment cabins, with a facemask made from local bananas.
