With the start of the fine weather, we’re kicking off our rooftop terrace season, at our hotels in the main Spanish cities, and one in Portugal. All have unbeatable views and their own unique character, so there’s something on offer for everyone. Breakfasts in the cool of the day’s start, mid-morning snacks, lunch under the sun’s rays and dinners or cocktails as the sun goes down. Any moment is perfect to enjoy the fine weather from the heights of the city, enjoying incredible music and cuisine. It’s time to enjoy the Vincci Hoteles terraceo experience to the max.
Vincci The Mint 4* (Gran Vía 10, Madrid)
Minty freshness is back in the skies above Gran Vía, thanks to The Mint Roof. The terrace of Vincci THE MINT 4* is now open from 17:30 to 01:00.
The Mint Roof is the place to let yourself go with the flow. Its exquisite décor focuses on wood, along with textiles that fill the space with colour and a range of plants, including of course, mint. One of its main attractions is its food truck, brought straight from France, where you’ll find the most refreshing drinks.
New for this year, we’ve got themed weeks, offering a real trip around the world through music and food: Cantonese Week, Mexican Week, Venezuelan Week, Japanese Week, Peruvian Week, African Week, European Week, USA Week, Asian Week…
And during the coming months, the freshness of the Vincci Fresh Sessions comes to the terrace, which will be holding sessions led by the funkiest DJs, with the most refreshing cocktails.
From Thursday to Saturday, you can enjoy the finest sunset hour in Madrid, at the “Tardeo” of THE MINT Roof: a different kind of start to the evening, which are just perfect with THE MINT cocktail and the “Tapa of the day”. THE MINT Roof “tardeos” invite you to enjoy the “fresh hour”, a ritual for that incredible moment just as the sun goes down. As if it were an English pub, a bell rings to signal the end of the day and everyone present gets a shot of mint, while the finest music plays.
Vincci Mae 4* (Avenida Diagonal 596, Barcelona)
The style of 1930s New York fills this hotel, inspired by the wit, irony and sensuality of the actress it takes its name from: Mae West.
The ninth floor is home to the “West” bar and restaurant, with direct access to the terrace and a menu offering local produce, which often reveals European and Asian influences. To go along with the fabulous dishes, “West” has a cocktail menu, including the internationally famous drink dedicated to the New York actress. Tempted?
What’s more, in its plunge pool, you can take a dip while you gaze out at the city’s skyline. There are also outdoor areas with tables, and with hammocks where you can lie back and swing under the sun or the stars
Vincci Bit 4* (Calle Josep Pla 69, Barcelona)
Imbued with a spirit that’s clearly cutting-edge and cosmopolitan, the terrace at Vincci Bit conserves the modernist style of the hotel’s building, while there’s Street Art in every public space.
The eighth floor hosts the rooftop terrace, with a pool and a sun-bathing area. It’s the perfect place to relax or enjoy something from the food or cocktail menus. From 22 June to the end of September, the terrace will host music from some of the funnest DJs around.
Vincci Mercat 4* (Carrer de la Llanterna 31, Valencia)
Located in one of the busiest, most visited parts of Valencia, Vincci Mercat 4* is inspired by the Mercado Central, the biggest space in Europe dedicated to fresh produce.
The charming rooftop terrace allows the guests to enjoy the sun and views over the city. There’s a small pool, for a dip, or to enjoy the sun in the summer. The culinary offering ranges from tapas and dishes to share, all made with first class ingredients, to ‘moon-lit dinners’, a menu show-casing the regions specialities. Why not accompany it with a fine cocktail, as you contemplate the incredible views?
Vincci Selección Posada del Patio 5* (Pasillo de Santa Isabel 7, Málaga)
Right in the historic heart of Málaga, the Vincci Selección Posada del Patio 5* is built on the site of two older buildings, under which lie the remains of Málaga’s Arabic Wall, which can be seen.
On the rooftop of this remarkable hotel is an outdoor terrace with views over some of the city’s major landmarks. During the day, you can enjoy the sun on the hammocks or a refreshing dip in the pool. To get your mouth watering, the menu includes fresh dishes, such as salads or sea bass and prawn ceviche, and easy-to-share dishes such as a trio of hamburgers or focaccia caprese.
Vincci Porto 4* (Alameda Basilio Teles 29-33, Oporto, Portugal)
Located right by the Douro, it offers one of the finest sunsets in Porto. The terrace at Vincci Porto is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail as the sun goes down, in a property housed in one of Porto’s historic buildings, the bolsa do pescado, as it’s known locally, dating from the 30s.
On the rooftop terrace, you can enjoy a range of gastronomic proposals, including traditional cuisine, with signature touches. For example, the cod tempura, the garlic prawns or the Portuguese cheese plate. It also offers a wide range of cocktails and an extensive wine list. On Sunday afternoons, it hosts the Vincci Fresh Sessions, with music from the freshest DJs to finish the weekend off in style.
