Drunch, the latest gastronomic trend, has arrived at Vincci Soho

After incorporating the menu of the Restaurant Prado 18 tapas&lounge to its room service offerings, the hotel Vincci Soho 4* in Madrid is surprising us again with a new, avant-garde, and delicious initiative. We’re talking about drunch, a very appetizing aperitif for summer evenings.

This concept is the latest in gastronomic trends and yet another innovative thing that the Restaurant Prado 18 tapas&lounge, a gourmet space at the hotel Vincci Soho, is offering in this budding season.

The history of drunch is quite interesting. The term comes from two English words (dinner+lunch=drunch). Although the idea was born in Italy and is usually called an “aperitif,” in recent years it has been converted into an entire gastronomic phenomenon. In fact, drunch has managed to have a place of honor on the menus of the most “in” places in England, Italy, and the United States.

Thinking about it, drunch is nothing more than a chic version of the snack/dinner we’ve known all our lives, a custom that the hotel Vincci Soho is rediscovering by giving it a chic, personalized, and distinguished update.

And what exactly does this offering consist of? From 5pm to 9pm, you can choose three gourmet tapas from the ample and exquisite menu of Prado 18, drink included, all for only 18€ per person.

Terraza hotel Vincci Soho MadridImagine having a Foie gras medallion with gold salt, seasoned bread and Pedro Ximenez, a Croquette Duo (goat cheese and tomato confiture), or a cod tosta a la Vizcaina… If, on the other hand, you want to make your evening sweeter, then you can’t miss delicious desserts like Cheese and cardamom chocolates or a Chocolate cup, among many other options. And it’s all to be found in an exclusive area of the capital: a typical Madrid patio in the very Barrio de las Letras.

It’s definitely an unbeatable way to enjoy a well-deserved break with friends after a long, hard day of work. Or, if you prefer, it’s a novel means to take full advantage of your leisure time. We assure you that not even Sunday afternoons, or any other day of the week, for that matter, will ever be the same after you’ve discovered drunch.

Because there’s nothing like spending the warmest evenings on the terrace patio of the hotel Vincci Soho, an unmatched space to which the Restaurant Prado 18 moves during the summer months. Make it the scene of some amazing moments.
