Presentation in Marbella of the 2nd edition of the Charity Dinner ‘Our Differences Make Us Unique’, to be held at the Beach Club Estrella del Mar
This Thursday, February 19, at noon, in the offices of ASPANDEM (Avenida Príncipe de Asturias S/N. San Pedro Alcántara, Marbella) the ‘II Charity Dinner ‘Our Differences Makes Us Unique’ will be presented, an event in support of ASPANDEM, an association that works with people with disabilities who live on the Costa del Sol. The dinner will be held at the Beach Club Estrella del Mar on 20 March.
The press conference will be attended by María José Morales López, president of ASPANDEM; Manuel Cardeña, Marbella councillor responsible for social welfare; Mauricio Giovanini, chef at the restaurant Messina and representative of the distinguished group of caterers who will create the dinner; Adolfo Aldana, representing the line-up of artists who will perform at the event; the director of the Vincci Selección Estrella del Mar 5*, Jorge Castellvi; Trudy Chinarro de Raat, manager of Tanino and organiser of the event; and food critic Enrique Bellver who will give the presentation.
The ‘II Charity Dinner ‘Our Differences Make Us Unique’ will take place on Friday 20 March at 20.30 in the Beach Club Estrella del Mar. Both the cocktail, as well as the dinner itself, will be created by the finest, most highly honoured, chefs in Andalusia. This outstanding group, including leading gastronomic names, is made up of TANINO, TAKUMI, OBRADOR DULCE Y SALADO, VINCCI ESTRELLA DEL MAR, LA MAREA, MESSINA, 1870, EL LAGO, NOMO, SOLLO, RESTAURANTE JOSÉ CARLOS GARCÍA AND DANI GARCÍA RESTAURANTE.
This stunning line-up will create the delicacies for the guests, who with their contribution are helping ASPANDEM with their work in favour of Costa del Sol residents with disabilities. There will be lots of surprises, prizes and performances from prominent artists during the ‘II Charity Dinner ‘Our Differences Make Us Unique’ [Link in Spanish].
This year too, the youngsters of ASPANDEM will be the real stars of the show on what promises to be a wonderful evening, and they’ll help us understand in detail the work carried out by the entity, formed in 1980 and presided over by María José Morales López.

We’ll be setting up a photocall at the entrance to the Beach Club Estrella del Mar in Marbella, through which all the guests and artists will pass.
